I've now seen her build things. ....I can attest, she has some McGuyver qualities) that reference is likely too old, but oh well.

Rave: diving over a dormant volcano (heat pushes sulfur up to the sand bottom and you can stick your hand into the sulfur sand and feel the heat, but only a few inches or it gets too hot) makes for super warm fun

Rant: it's really hard to get the attention of those around you while diving since you can't yell "huge shark!" or "a field of rays over there".

Rave: getting to see cool stuff like sharks and rays, even if others missed out

While swimming in Tortola, my friend turns to me and says "why are those guys over there waving at us? Are they trying to tell us there is a shark behind us?" (asked seriously).

Me: you need glasses. They are waving and blowing us kisses.

Turns out they were just local island land sharks :-)

Mother fucking ass slamming rant: just found out am getting a new supervisor. Who knows NOTHING about what I do so I must train her to be my boss effectively creating more work for me and more salary for her. As a result, while I am fucking irritated inside, I must maintain a smile and be professional so my cheeks are bright red. Erg.
