No one is taken in by your promises of 'free beer'. It is obviously just a skunked 6-pack of PBR that your dog [edit: or possibly beaver] peed on.
  • I'll vote for the 19th if whynot buys me a drink and brings us a crave case.

Mougar derides my plan as unfeasible and unattractive. However, he present no plan of his own. This more of the same tired rhetoric that we are used to hearing from his side of the aisle. We need change! Support change by supporting the 19th, and rejecting the negativism of Mougar.

The 12th is but one day after the 11th. We all remember September 11th and how Mougar and his ilk attacked us on that day. We can not simply act like the 12th just another day, and celebrate it. We must remember that people like Mougar are waiting to attack us at every turn. We must remain vigilant, and celebrate on the 19th.

We must send a clear message around the world that we will not tolerate Mougar and his young, unproven, and optimistic ways.
  • Wow. We COULD have one both nights! The 12th at Franklin Park as originally designed, and the 19th in Park Slope at Buttermilk. BigGuy is your pole long enough to reach across both nabes?

Of course I have a plan. I will bring free beer to all while at the same time lowering taxes and balancing the budget. And it will be good beer too. Certainly not beaver pee.

Obviously I'm not going to reveal the specifics of this plan here. If our enemies were to learn of this plan, they would try to stop it. But just give me six months, and if I haven't distributed the free beer by then, you can come back and tear down my White Row House fence.

Mougar is proposing that government solve all of your problems, yet does not disclose that everything has a cost. He will raise this money for this "free good beer" but will not disclose how. He will likely do it by cutting support programs for our neediest citizens (our elderly grandmothers) and by killing puppies and selling their bodies and fur to labs and famous fornicators in Hollywood (respectively).

Mougar's beer will be made from the blood of late term abortions.

MY VOTE! Fuck Whynot and Mouger. Posers. VOTE SCARLETT!!
  • Can we franklyn park on 19th and buttermilk on the 12th??

By proposing that this event take place on two days, you are undermining the sanctity of the 19th. You can not simply drink for the heck of it whenever you want. Drinking is not a simple act of pleasure. Drinking is gift, given to us by (some entity) that must be taken seriously, and blessed by the populace.

Those of you who drink without the blessing of the populace will be charged with criminal offenses, unable to visit your partners in the hospital after they pass out, and be the subject of ridicule.

P.S. the fact that I can type this crap this quickly indicates I watched far too much Fox this past election season.

PS #2: Having two events is a good idea. I could also come after my event on the 12th.

It is with deep regret that I must announce my departure from this race to spend more time with my beautiful wife and two adorable children. Although the timing may appear suspicious, it has nothing to do with whynot's ridiculous accusation that I run a secret fetal blood brewery

Life on the road these past months has been very difficult on all of us. I am proud of what I have accomplished in such a short time. My presence in the race brought the discourse to a higher level, and helped shift the debate to the issues that matter, namely free beer.
  • I now fear that I may lose the race, despite being the only canditate. How humiliating is that!
  • whynot, drinking IS a simple act of pleasure!!!!!!!!

Mama, I am def up for Buttermilk this week and official Festivus at FP next week.

Whynot, why not change the poll -- why are you so obsessed with poles anyway? I mean polls.

Scarlett, do not attempt to dignify my posts with responses.

As she will gladly tell you, Mamacita is under no obligation to adhere to the results of the poll. She will tell us tht she gave us the opportunity to vote, yet we voted "wrong" ...and then ban us, change our avatar to one of her choosing, send us a warning, and then have it on the day of her choice.

Seriously, pick a date and lets start drinking.
  • Hum! [-(
  • i vote FP on the 12th, as it's in stumbling distance of my house and i can't come on the 19th.

or we could just all pee on a fellow brooklynian and call it a night.
  • I second FP for the 12th for the same reason as sweet tea.

Also that Aji place looks awesome. I loved getting a bowl of roasted corn nuts when I was in Peru. And Lomo Saltado. And Pisco Sours.
  • Buttermilk the 12th and FP the 19th! It's ON
  • FP the 12th and Weather Up the 19th!!!
  • Carnivore wrote: FP the 12th and Weather Up the 19th!!!
    Llama's can't vote. Piss off.
  • people voting for the 12th can't vote.
  • FP on the 12th is a done deal. The 19th is still negotiable.
  • Carnivore wrote: FP on the 12th is a done deal. The 19th is still negotiable.
