Cold enough fer ya? It's not too late to knit a hat for the holidays, just make sure it's for a child or a cat. Thanks for all those who participated in the charity mitten drive.

Knit at Freddy's
Sunday, Dec. 21, '08
7:30PM onward

Develop Don't Destroy Brooklyn (DDDB) will be having their Holiday Party before Knit PH meets at Freddy's, from 4:00 - 7:00PM. These are the fine folks that ensure we can knit at Freddy's.

Freddy's has tap and bottled beer, wine, wine from a box, seating for 40 people and large tables... perfect for sewing those large projects like blankets, coats, and sweaters. Always available on this night: swift, wool winder, yardage counter and good conversation. Crocheters are welcomed, men are encouraged and drinking is optional.

Vodka & Tutonic?
The German Language Stuides Club also meets on this night. Rumor has it they will be caroling in German — nothin' spells Holiday like Kurt Weil and eggnog.

Freddy's Bar is located on the corner of Dean and 6th Avenue between the Pacific/Atlantic Stations and the 2/3 Bergen stop, just down the street from the 78th Precinct. Getting there is easier than being arrested.
