But now for some general craziness in Brooklyn: I have been encouraged by Voodoo to write a short expose.

Re: "The shared sausage". Sometimes you need to wait a while for a group member to disclose. Sometimes other group members will inquire, and it has greater effect on the participants of the risky activity (ie Anastasia and Mougar) when they hear good information from their peers than it would if the question or information was brought by me (the imaginary group leader).

But, because I have no patience, the next group "NA Double Trouble" starts here in 20 minutes, and am a sucker for Voodoo ever since he complemented Flexi's rack when he meant to compliment Anastasia's... here we go:

So, when they "share a sausage", one of our first assumptions is that Mougar is somehow getting "sausaged" by Anastasia. This is a low risk activity to each party because presumably a strap on (aka "sausage") is involved.

True, as the receiver, Mougar risks some injury (abrasions, tearing, etc).
However, as the exclusive user of the strap on, Anastasia has virtually no risk of injury if this is the only activity involved, and the chance of virus transmission between the them is low. This same low level of risk holds if Mougar exclusively uses the strap on sausage on Anastasia.

However, everything changes if the sausage (strap on) is used between and among the them. This is the "sausage sharing" that is referenced above, and the risk of transmission both "from Mougar to Anastasia" and "from Anastasia to Mougar" is much higher.

Likewise, if Mougar is the receiver of the strap on from Ana, yet gives Ana the "real thing", the risk of transmission is substansial ...unless, of course, a Mougar plans to use a sausage casing as he points out above.

It is not clear if the prohibition "no more sharing sausage" Ana has put in place involves: 1. Her receiving his genuine sausage. 2. Him receiving her strap on. The key word is "sharing". She has not ruled out simply receiving, or simply giving sausage.

Won't you miss me at Festivus?
