NYS Auto Inspection place open past noon on Saturday?

Can anyone recommend a local mechanic who is able to do a NYS Inspection on an all-wheel drive car, on a Saturday afternoon?

PepBoys for me too. If you go there first thing on a Saturday or Sunday you be out in about an hour. Just get there before they open the doors and you'll be all set.

There is a car body shop (don't know the name) on 4th Ave between President and Garfield. I did my inspection there on a Saturday afternoon only 2mo ago. PepBoy is always a good bet, but prepare to wait.

I recently read a horror story on another board about a woman who brought her car to Pep boys for a simple inspection. i don't know why anyone would go to a chain store for anything to do with their car!

With that said, my mechanic does inspections, he's a great guy, very honest and he is open on Saturdays until 5 or so.

Thank you all! I will try Minh and if they are too busy on Saturday, I will go to the Firestone dealer on Empire Boulevard (where I've gone before).

If they're too busy, I'll go to Minh on Sunday.

It's a beautiful thing... an auto repair facility open on Sunday!
