Sons of bitches, someone hit my car!!!!!

Merry Christmas, happy Holidays to me!!! GRRRRRR

My car was parked right on my block (just a few houses down from where I live), we used it on Sunday, parked it Sunday night and this morning when I went out to use it to go shopping, I saw the damage. Someone had hit the rear right of my car, knocking off a large section of the bumper, destroying the rear right light and smashing the entire rear right quarter of my car! A ton of damage!

Someone must have been tooo much of an idiot to get out the parking spot behind me. And, no, I was not close to the car behind me when I parked on Sunday. there were bits and pieces of my car laying all over the street. The section of my bumper that came off wasn't even there, they must have dragged it off with them! I already took it to my mechanic for a body work estimate, $800!

I can't believe someone did this and just left! I mean, I can believe it, but, you get my point!

Son of a bitch, karma will get you good whoever you are!!!

  • That truly sucks. People can be such assholes. Sorry that happened to you - just in time for Christmas. :(
  • That suks. Sorry to hear it.
  • Is it the Audi that has been sitting on the corner of 7th Ave and 9th Street? That has been there for like 2 weeks all smashed up, just sitting there.
  • Sorry to hear about that, it truly sucks! Where did this happen?
  • I've had my Audi side-swiped twice while parked along President St. and Carroll St. - and both times I was all the way against the curb with mirrors tucked in etc. Of course neither of the idiots that did it left a note or anything. It was extremely irritating to say the least, so I completely relate to your situation. Fortunately that's not my Audi on 9th Street though!
  • That's fucked up, sorry to hear it LTS. Karma will get them!
  • Thanks for the sympathy folks, I was sooo angry this morning when I saw it! I am feeling a little better about it now.

And, no, it was not the Audi at 9th Street. I live on 3rd Street and have a
Toyota. It happened a few doors down from my house.
  • serves you right for buying a foreign made car.

    That's the Christmas spirit! :?
  • A car hit the cab I was in on Christmas Day (the cab was a toyota) so I guess it served me right for sitting in a foreign made car (and shorting the fuck out of shares of GM).

it always amazes me how the internet can bring out such heartless assholes.

It's way too easy to be an asshole when you are an anonymous person at a keyboard.
  • I know, I know, it's still a shame though.

BTW, always meant to tell you, love your sig line, always want to steal it when i see it, LOL
  • ParkSlopeCynic needs to try on Carmen's sig for a while ("I'm an asshole. Apologies")
  • Speaking of assholes, I kinda miss Dexter. He was a fun protagonist for awhile.

If you want people to buy American cars, make a better car.

    Ha, please feel free!
  • I've owned three American cars, made by Dodge and by American Motors Corp. All were shoddily designed and shoddily manufactured.

When I bought my first foreign-made car, a Honda Accord, it was a revelation: cars didn't have to start falling apart on the way home from the dealership! And when you bring them back to the dealership for service or repair, you don't have to take rude treatment from the dealer! I'd need a whole lot of convincing before buying another American car.

Ha, whats their incentive to do that? We'll just keep bailin 'em out regardless.
