$1400 all inclusive 1BR apt, Huge, Furnished, avail 1/29/08
I have an amazing opportunity to stay at my friends' place for a year (maybe longer) for a work opp, so I am looking for A ROOMMATE WHO WANTS TO LIVE ALONE in my place. 10 blocks from Brooklyn College in lovely Midwood, just 10 mins to Park Slope on the Q train. You'd pay me on the first of each month by check or direct deposit. $2,100 security plus references, credit and security check required.
I have seen what's available out there. It's ugly, and overpriced. My home is warm and cozy and uncluttered and includes everything for the price. And I have great taste. Everyone who has ever seen my place LOVES IT. If you are mature and respectful of others' belongings, you are the perfect roommate for me. A couple is also ok.
Gorgeous, fully furnished large two bedroom apartment (one room is mine) in Victorian Midwood neighborhood in Brooklyn. Cross breezes, direct morning sun. Cozy, comfortable, top floor, one block from Q train - 40 Mins to midtown. 5 minute walk to Ditmas Park, Flatbush organic food co-op, cafes. Massage, yoga, chiropractor - 2 blcks away. Hardwood floors, lovely rugs, stained glass lamps, ceiling fans, air conditioners, large TV, VHS movies & VCR, Basic Cable (you can upgrade). Laundry in bldg basement. Everything is here except a computer; High-speed internet (DSL) is already connected. Stocked eat-in kitchen with pots, pans, plates, glassware. Large fridge. Queen sized bed (you provide sheets) in master bedroom (yours), full-length tub, newly painted apt.
I know, you wanted to be in Park Slope. But you can't park in the Slope, everything is overpriced, it's noisy and congested. Here, in Victorian Midwood, you are surrounded by gorgeous homes (great jogging area), 200 year old Huge Trees, quiet at night, Chinese food, pizza, Mexican food, small grocery stores, laundromat around the corner, sunrises, moonrises (from my windows), NO NOISY NEIGHBORS, friendly people in the building looking out for you and me, and you can PARK YOUR CAR on the streets here. You can drive to the slope, or hop the Q train for 10 minutes. It's great.
Sick of living in Manhattan in a tiny studio? Trying to lower your monthly expenses? Why not get rid of your house or overpriced Slope co-op, put your stuff in storage for a year and save money by living here? I am a fair, honest person. I know there are others out there like me.
Call me soon. Need to show now. Avail to show days, nights. Jan 29s move in date or a few days prior. Will email you photos on request.
