Cat foster home for February — Brooklynian

Cat foster home for February

Hi all,

My 7-year-old neutered male shorthair tan-and-white tabby *may* need a foster home for February. I'm moving to Hong Kong at the end of the month and will be in a hotel, paid for by my employer, for the first month until I can get settled into an apartment. I'm hiring a pet relocation service to bring Dutch over at the beginning of March, but he'll need a place to stay from Jan. 30 until then. My neighbors and my ex are considering taking him, but I'd like to have a backup plan in place.

Dutch is an indoor cat, healthy, litter-trained, playful, very cute (sorry I can't post a pic right away -- my home computer is in the shop) and a real charmer who loves meeting new people. He has his claws but uses a scratching post. The only caveats are that he's an only cat, so I don't know how he is with other pets or with children, and he can be very insistent about being fed (if I'm at home all day, I deal with that by giving him half his food early and the rest at his normal mealtime).

If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks.
