Brooklyn Animal Foster Network at it again

Walking by this group today on 7th avenue with my wife and our dog, who was a rescue, when some skinny guy came out of their minibus with a german shepherd mix. The dog came at us very quickly with fangs out...I've been around dogs my whole life and was surprised that someone would think that having a dog with this behavior problem on the street is appropriate. The dog briefly got into it with my dog before the skinny guy could control the shepherd. All the handler could mutter was "Sorry."

This thread isn't meant to start a flame war back and forth about this rescue group and their mission. I fully support responsible rescue groups in NYC and encourage everyone to research who you support...don't just give a dollar to someone who has animals on the street.

I am interested in hearing from people who have had similar experiences walking down 7th avenue. Has anyone reported them to the 78th? To the local Community board?
