Interested in joining a Crown Heights CSA?

Calling all folks interested in forming a Crown Heights CSA!

What? Crown Heights doesn't yet have its own CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture). A CSA is a group that buys “shares” in a farmer’s crop – when you buy a share, you’ll get a box of fresh ORGANIC produce delivered every week to Crown Heights by the farmer.

Who? We're Crown Heights residents interested in access to fresh, local veggies, and we're seeking other Crown Heights residents to join our CSA -- we'd also welcome people who live nearby and would be willing to get their produce at a pick-up point located in Crown Heights.

How much? A share (for 3-5 people) is about $550 for 26 weeks (May to Nov.) – (That’s a full box of food @ $20-23/wk!) And a partial share is $375.

When? Where? The pick-up location will be near the Franklin Ave. stop on the 2/3 4/5 line on Tuesday nights starting at the end of May.

INTERESTED? E-mail [email protected] ASAP, and we can give you more details!
