Let me aplogize in advance for posting an event that takes place upstate, but my arts management company, Jumbie Records, is presenting the Bernard Woma Trio at Joe's Pub.

Bernard Woma is a mindblowing musician from northern Ghana who plays the gyil. The gyil is a type of xylophone with wooden keys and gourd resonators that use spider web sacks to the give them a buzzy sound. We're very proud that Joe's Pub is hosting him, since it is one of the best venues in Manhattan.

The show is Sunday 2/19 at 9:30 pm. Cost is $15 plus drinks.
