Opinions on Meserole beween Graham and Manhattan
I'm looking at an apartment in this area. I have spent time in Williamsburg, but not this part of Williamsburg. I of course plan on going back to get a better feel for the area. I know this is a wide open question, and everyone's opinions will vary, but, what is it like? Is there a supermarket around? I love Latin Food, but that's all I saw in my brief trip tonight. Are there other cuisines nearby? Is it considered "safe"? Silly questions, I know- I need to decide for myself. But any thoughts would be appreciated.

Safe? yes. you're very close to both the Lorimer and Graham L stations. There are TONS of great food and drink options near by. They may be a few minutes walk but what's a few minutes? You're nice and close to Jimmy's Diner which might be one of my favorite overlooked brunch spots in the area. And for dinner they're just as good and have cheap pitchers of Rolling Rock. There's a Sunac market right on Union and Metro and they're open pretty damn late and tons of other grocery stores around, a C Town right off the Graham L station. If you have a good deal on this place and the unit is nice, you should take it.

C-Town, mentioned above, is a supermarket. There are a few drug stores, and the Metropolitan Pool and Recreation Center is a few blocks away. -
I totally blanked on Meserole's location, d'oh hah. You're actually a lot closer to the Montrose L station. But yea pretty much everything else mentioned before is still relevant. And there's a great bar near there called Duck Duck on Montrose and Graham.

Its a pretty safe neighborhood. My car was broken into a few months ago but thats to be expected. There is a Walgreen's on Meserole and Union. Also a cool cafe called Cafe Nijasol on Montrose between Graham and Humboldt. Duck Duck looks pretty cool and there is also a fairly new coffee shop across from the Millennium on Bushwick and Montrose. Check out some of the police blotters if ur interested.

Oh also there is a Key Food on Grand that I like. Clean and you can get some good options/produce unlike some of the C-towns and Bravos.
