  • Like several of the other posters, I had a hard time understanding your post.

Now that you've explained it, all I've been able determine is that you want people to agree with you: Crime is bad; it hurts people.

We've done this. Is this all you want?

We didn't experience this crime, and it seems you didn't either.
...its hard to get all excited and outraged about it as a result.
"adolescent does violent stupid thing" is a timeless headline.

    ...but hey, go for it.

Hamilton, you should use your free time to tell us the sorry of Sept 11, 2001. Did a building hit a plane?
  • Sorry to disappoint you - but I happened to have witnessed it.
And assisted the police, as did a neighbor who video taped it - which helped ID and apprehend them.

    Now back to you...
While you pride yourself on being blasé when people get injured, I'll do what I can to correct the situation.
    That's OK - you're spineless.

My problem with overly-verbose, needy little defeatists (like you and the illiterate winstonsmith, among others) is that while they have a never-ending supply of snarky pointless remarks - they lack the substance to contribute to anything in a constructive manner.
    So they're disruptive.

    I know - it's all about you.
    But you know what?
    It's never about you.
That's why you have to resort to the equivalent of mental farting to be noticed.
You have nothing else to offer.
  • Hamilton wrote: my post was not based on my opinion of the situation ,but on actual conversations i had with one of the boarders ,who was arrested later in the day and the parent who was assaulted.
this made it seem as you were only there after the incident. ...now you are stating you were there?
  • can someone PLEASE explain to me why people on here interact with hamilton and obamanut? they are both clearly verging on insane.

do you engage them for the sheer humor of it?

that's all i can think of.

Both of those individuals filled me in on how the incident started.
    I only saw the assault.

Its all very confusing. First it seemed you only read about it in the newspaper, then you only heard about it, now you were there for the assault.

If you'd made this clear, I would have read it for what it is: a firsthand account of a senseless act of violence.

In order to get the response you want from people, you've gotta communicate clearly. I still think violence sucks. Violence against people who don't deserve it sucks even more.

    I usually avoid such things.

But -in this instance- I was both trying to figure out what he was saying, and bored out my mind.

Didn't Jewel sing that babies, unicorns, sunsets on the beach, and insane people are the most wonderful things?

She sang it in her squeaky voice. Thanks to you, I am now imagining Archie Bunker's version...

    Those were the days...
  • exactly, Archie's voice, with some of his lyrics and Jewel's.
  • [quote=Hamilton]Well...a "criminal use of the language" is what precipitated these moron's trip to Riker's Island.

And as a result of their criminal behavior, we have this wonderful thread - which not only enlightens us as to what's going on in the neighborhood - but provides an outlet for passive-aggressive malcontents, as well.

The "sorry of Sept 11" ? LOL!
You're going to have to go back and edit that one a few more times!
    That's the real "sorry" !

Alright ladies, I'm headed off to Farrell's for some real intellectual discourse.
On such pressing matters as Dubs pies, Stumptown, Zuzu Ramen, Babeland ... and the proper use of a hose.

    HAMILTON HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!

What's wrong with this post? He's bringing an important story to the attention of those who read Brooklynian and live in the area. I for one want to know what is going on in my neighborhood, good and bad.
You and most of the others are picking on Hamilton like you're in 3rd grade. Here's a thought, don't open any of his threads if they bother you that much. Some of us want to read about this story without wading throughout all the BS.

Thanks for pointing out my typo, you are a prince.

I am just saying that your description of the events is blaming the victim.

I bet you are a nice guy in person, but your internet persona is a creep.
  • And you wonder why we dislike you transplanted retards?
  • And Hamilton is way cool, so those little farty opinions of the parentally supported are just subjective brain spasms.

    Aww - Thanks Darlin'!

    How are Rocco and Jezebel?

No, it's not heroic - it's the normal reaction of someone with character.
As opposed to a flippant jellyfish.
    Who can think
    But cannot act

I'm blaming the guy who got hit with a skateboard?

    Are you ok?

Since your impaired thought process reminds me of Edith Bunker, maybe you and witch-king can get together and do a slightly retarded, modern revival of "All in the Family".
And bring WhyNot_31 along to play meathead...

I don't think you have much character. I came here to have a conversation and all I get are insults.

Like I said before, you probability a nicer person in reality, bu here you are just a creep to avoid.

    I am outta here
  • Okay, enough.
    Board moderator here.
If you can't talk about something without insulting each other, the conversation on this board is over.
