Anyone heard of the 4th ave renters association or similar? — Brooklynian

Anyone heard of the 4th ave renters association or similar?

I was told by an acquaintance about a place that gives fre, but limited legal advice to renters.

I *think* it was called 4th ave renters association, but I could be wrong. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Maybe correct me on the name?

edit:

you know what? I'm kind of tired of waiting. If anyone knows of a good landlord tenant attorney (who wont rape my wallet), that would be great as well.

  • I remember reading a while back that there were a couple buildings owned by someone who racked up thousands of violations, etc. Maybe they created an organization or had one helping them.

Otherwise there is a place called South Brooklyn Legal Services
