Jackson (3 Year Old Cat) Needs Home
Jackson is a 3 year old domestic shorthair brown tiger cat. I think he was named for the Johnny Cash song Jackson because he's such a handsome little manly man and quite the flirt. I'm fostering him for Anjellicle Cats Rescue. He gets along splendidly with my other cats and loves to play. He can have hours of fun with a pen that he's knocked to the floor, but his favorite toys are a dangling ladybug on a wooden wand and a laser pointer toy. He has been neutered, has all his shots and tested negative for feline immunodeficiency virus and feline leukemia. I'm happy to answer any and all questions, and to have potential adopters visit Jackson in my home in Park Slope. Adoption must go through Anjellicle Cats Rescue. An adoption application must be submitted. There is also a $125 adoption fee which defrays cost of Jackson's testing, vaccines and neutering. Trust me…this little guy is worth every penny! To find out more about Jackson, PM me. Thanks! Carolyn

My little manly man is also named Jackson. I'm not sure if he's in to ladybugs, but he is definitely a flirt :-) -
Thanks! As you can see I figured out how to post one photo. (Though no luck with multiple ones.)

Oh, he's very handsome! I love his markings. My house is at maximum Jackson-pacity

Jackson says thanks much for the compliment. He'd write some more but he's very busy chasing a laser pointer at the moment.

what a beautiful cat. is he declawed?
-
No, he has all his claws but is very gentle and doesn't use them.

Jackson has now discovered the window in my front room. He sits on the air conditioner and chirps at the world as it goes by. He's gone from hiding under the bed in my son's room to stretching out on mine ALL the time so he has a good vantage point from which to watch the antics of my other 5 cats.

Jackson has a new kitty daddy and is no longer on the market for a new home. Will be posting about my next foster kitty soon.

Yay! My Jackson is sitting next to me ....I'm glad there's another happy Jackson out there now.
Good job! -
I miss my Jackson. Give yours an extra big hug for me!

Great job Carolyn!!

Thanks Mamacita. I've noticed that you do a lot of fostering. I'm a newbie at it so I'd love to hear about some of your experiences and ideas.

Well I did a lot of feeding (feral cats) and only now got into the fostering. The queen is by far Caseopele. Who is the Noah's Ark of saving animals (if that makes sense HA!)
There are tons of resources out there. The thing is to employ them! The Muffins neutering program, Petfinder, Craigslist.... the list goes on.
Howdy, Stranger!
