Does this community need therapy? — Brooklynian

Does this community need therapy?

What kind of therapy would the community need? A therapy that is non-blaming, where you don't need to be presenting grievances, but rather creating a new kind of conversation, and a conversation that is developmental.

Fort Greene is a multi-racial, diverse community. When people get stuck in their own identities, fixated on their "unique identity," they stagnate. But, when people learn how to have new conversations with others, to embrace their similarities, to ask new questions, to share more about their experiences, they have more to work with, a stronger base from which to grow, to heal, to live intentionally and more powerfully in their communities.
