Looking for 1 bedroom Apt - Park Slope/park vicinity

Can anyone help me re advice for starting search? I am being forceably evicted after 11 years in my apartment at 2nd St and 8th Ave because the owner of the building is reclaiming the apartment for his son. (Yep - it's totally legal!)

Have 2 Pekes so need dog-friendly place and as close to Park as financially feasible/possible.

Budget is +/- $1600/month

Any advice (other then Craig's List) would be greatly apreciated.
