What a wonderful person

On Monday evening leaving the A train around 5:30pm I lost my wallet coming home from work. The funny thing is that I didn't even realize I lost it, but a beautiful young lady rang my doorbell about 8:30pm and brought my wallet back home to me. (everything was the same way I had it)
I was so suprised, shocked and caught of guard. (because I didn't even know it was lost) I just wanted everybody to know that there are wonderful kind people that are thoughtful and considerate in crownheights and I really appreciate it tremendously.

I dropped my wallet getting out of my car on Classon and Prospect...

Next morning, I went to my car to look for it, and two young ladies came and gave me my wallet back. Don't be scared by KWAC or Parade Rest, all the people in our neighborhood aren't animals.

That's wonderful!! It's beautiful to know that kind hearted people are still out here. I lost my wallet once and realized my entire life was in it... didn't get it back. You were fortunate! I understand.

A reminder...make copies or scan of both sides of the stuff in your wallet. Then if you do loose it, you can easily contact credit card companies and such.

I've had lots of kindness in the neighborhood. My boyfriend has sometimes left his keys in the door of the apartment (in the hallway), and our neighbors always check and knock on the door to let us know. One time we left our car lights on down the block and people told the neighbors who came upstairs to tell us.

I agree. A few years ago, I dropped my wallet on the platform of the Q 7th Avenue stop. Someone found it, called me and sent it to (via FedEx I think) to my office.
Last fall, walking home from work, I fell on the sidewalk, across the street from my apartment. About an hour or so later I started receiving phone calls on my landphone, ignored them as I was starving but then realized the calls were a little late and one of them was my mom's nurse. I quickly called the nurse back and she said a guy called her (she was the last person on my redial) and said he had my phone, gave his name, address and number, etc.

I called him, although a bit apprehensive, he explained where he was and I asked a LOT of questions. I walked over to his home because I didn't want him to come here (never know). Got my phone -- we met at a well lit area. WHAT a relief. About a month later, I was reviewing my pics on the camera and found that my hero had taken a picture of himself waving.
