PUBLIC MEETING FOR RE-ZONING AT BORO HALL - MAY 7 @ 5:30 PM

On Thursday, May 7, at 5:30 p.m., there will be a public hearing held by Boro President Marty Markowitz, at Brooklyn Boro Hall (Court & Joralemon Streets) for the Department of City Planning's proposal for re-zoning throughout Flatbush. This proposal is vital to the preservation of Victorian Flatbush. The re-zoning proposal includes down-zoning in Ditmas Park West to prevent further demolition of one and two family homes, as has occurred on Stratford Road.

It is essential that we have a solid turnout of residents at the May 7 hearing to show our strong support for the proposal. The local politicians, including Marty Markowitz, have indicated they favor the proposal, but they need us to back them up. Please attend the meeting and voice your support. Thank you.
