Description:
This highly independent role is an important one at Red Horse Café, located at the corner of 6th Ave and 12th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn. You will work from home on your own schedule and very closely with the owners of the Café to develop high quality featured monthly artist and weekly live music. In addition, the café would like to develop a regular local filmmakers’ screening series, and other events such as trivia nights are open for discussion. You will have a large amount of input into what is developed at the café, with approval from the owners who are very nice and open to new ideas. The ideal candidate will live in Park Slope and have a flexible schedule.

As Events & Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
·seeking out and scheduling monthly featured artists and weekly acoustic musicians;
·attending monthly artist celebrations to set-up food, create ambiance and meet and greet new clients;
·sending weekly email reminders to the mailing list;
·maintaining website and Facebook with events and press;
·writing and sending periodical press releases;
·meeting regularly with café owners;
·keeping track of your hours.

Pay and Benefits include:
·$12/hour, approximately 5-10 hours each week

Hi, I don't know if you're still looking for a person to fill this, but I believe I would be ideal for the position. As a film/ event production person I've years of experience with coordinating events. I'm computer literate & I've connections through managing Get Reel Video with several local filmmakers.
