Brooklyn Clothing Exchange and Weaving Hand present Clothing Swap, Deconstruct, Recycle, Weave
Saturday May 16, 2009
1 – 5 p.m.
Weaving Hand Studio

320 2nd Street between 4th and 5th Avenues in Park Slope, Brooklyn

Brooklyn Clothing Exchange is collaborating with Weaving Hand - a community space for weavers and fiber artists located in Park Slope - for an exciting large-scale fiber arts public exhibition.
The leftovers from the swap will be deconstructed, shredded and then woven to create the communal weaving installation.

The swap will be lively and social as the studio and Collective Communal Consciousness (CCC) will be simultaneously preparing the customized, hand-built giant "Meta Loom" for the Village Voice Obie’s Awards pre-party and after party extravaganza: Creative Block – at Webster Hall Monday May 18, 2009.

Feel free to bring your family and friends. This is a kid friendly event*
