I've used Angie's list in another major city and want to recommend my cleaning lady here. But, do people use Angie's List here?

I looked at it, it seems useful, but it costs money and I decided to just use word of mouth.

Maybe just write her a letter of recommendation?

Yeah, I can do that. But she's trying to build up business. Oh, duh, maybe she should just write an ad for brooklynian and include "have references"....
