AVOID KINARA
We just ordered Delivery from Kinara, and, hand on my heart, I can't remember a worse meal.
In fact, the whole experience was a nightmare. When I called to place the order, the guy yelled at me. I asked my husband what dish he wanted, and the guy taking my order actually **shouted** "HURRY UP, I AM VERY BUSY!" At that point, we decided to continue with our order, because we were hungry, but decided that the food would have to be pretty damn spectacular for us to return.
An hour and a half goes by, still no food. When it finally arrives, the delivery guy needs us to pay by CASH, even though we asked to pay by credit card, and gave our number to the nasty man on the phone. We have to call the restaurant, and the guy even had the audacity to say, "I never took your credit card number". We told him to look on the kitchen receipt, where he had scribbled it down. So, we scrape together $33 and sit down to eat. Bearing in mind, we were unbelievably hungry (we just moved that day, and were up to our eyeballs in lifting heavy furniture and boxes) we ended up throwing all the food away.
The delivery guy wouldn't let us have the receipt with our credit card number written on it, so I am just hoping that our credit card doesn't get charged-- they are THAT unprofessional, I wouldn't put it past them making sucha mistake.
The food was so unpalatable and the service so unprofessional that I would

Ordered from there many times without a problem. The food is really good. -
I have ordered from there plenty also and never had a bad experience.
As for the guy yelling at you-well-no service person should yell at you-but, you should also know your order before calling-while on the phone with the restaurant is not the time to decide what to get. -
I've only ever eaten in the restaurant, so I can't say how Kinara works with delivery. However; Kinara is hands-down the best Indian food in the area. The one time they messed something up (my khandari naan seemed to be missing all that's "khandari" about it), they whipped me up a new order in just a few minutes.
Darn it - now I want Indian food for dinner!

I've ordered about a dozen times in the past 3 months and they have always been very nice on the phone and the delivery is fast. Best part is - the food is fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

Subject: 1/2 price lunch
M'man and I had lunch here earlier this week. The food is great --- and @ 50% off from noon until 4pm --- NOT BAD AT ALL. Only catch is, when it came time for us to leave --- we couldn't finish our meal, so we asked for some containers to bring our grub home. Our server sputtered something about us not being able to do so because of the 50% off deal. I though that was kind of weird. The server felt bad after I looked so downcast --- and gave in... but c'mon. Don't you think that's weird?
