Subject: What's Going On Tonight?

For once, I don't really feel like just sitting at a bar tonight (although don't get me wrong, I'm all for bars. Especially new ones). Does anyone know about anything else going on tonight in PS or nearby -- pub quizzes, festivals, music, whatever?

Yes! Midnight bike ride (probably earlier than midnight, actually). You get to ride in the dark and _then_ sit in a bar...much better!

Um, I only suggested it 2 minutes ago, so I'm not sure if others will join....but I'm hopeful.

Unfortunately, my bike lives in the basement with my mutant brother. But I'm not supposed to talk about him.

Also, I'm looking for something to do with a group of like 6 people, and a midnight bike ride is gonna be a hard sell for them. But thanks for the suggestion. If I ever get my bike out into the light of day, I'm totally interested.

Always music at Barbes or Puppets, could pop into PENNY NIGHT at Ellis at 9, there may be music at Aji...........

No, I should've qualified that with "the last time I went" which was, I think, the very first time they did it. Have the weekly ones been as crowded as the first? I'm definitely going, and bringing a few people. I hope it's not quite as mobbed.

Well last week it was jaegar, couple beers and stoli o for a penny. Last night it was just draft beer so we didn't go.

Myself and two friends went: 9 draft beers, two appetizers: $32 (with good tips and tax).

This is definitely on the weekly to-do list.
