Last year we started a new Crown Heights blog (www.nostrandpark.com) and are looking for contributing writers and artists. We are hoping that the blog will complement the other Crown Heights blogs and forum and:

• 1.serve as a portal to find information about Crown Heights, past, present and future;
  2.serve as a virtual "town square" for the community; and
  3.serve as a space where those within the community (old-timers and newcomers, Rastas and rabbis, from Washington to Ralph and everyone in between) can contribute to the public image of the community rather than have it shaped by external forces.

With that said, we are looking for people who would be interested in contributing to the blog, either on a regular, periodic or one-time basis. We already have 5 regular contributors, but we are still looking for others interested in:

• 
  1.discussing Crown Heights real estate (general trends and specific RE).
  2.discussing Crown Heights dining.
  3.discussing matters of interest to Caribbean-American Crown Heights.
  4.discussing matters of interest to Hasidic Crown Heights.
  5.discussing family-related matters in Crown Heights (e.g. schools, day cares, parks and playgrounds)
  6.discussing other topics of interest.
