  • As in Kashrut or Kosher style?
  • as in superkosher
  • No specific names but you should look around Coney Island Avenue between Ave J. & L, and Ave J. itself between Coney Island Ave. & Bedford Ave. There's also 13th Ave. between 36th Street & 59th Street. Avoid Shang Chai on Flatbush Ave.
  • While I'm sure there are many in Borough Park & other Hasidic/Orthodox communities, I know that many of the vegetarian restaurants in "Curry Hill" (Lexington Avenue & about 28th Street) have kosher certifications in the windows and even have the sinks outside the bathrooms.
Plus South Indian food is awesome!
  • Mendy's, Coney island Avenue and Avenue J, really good food, and, yes, very kosher. It's kosher deli, but, they do have lots of hot entrees.

    Check out their website online:

  • Not to be disrespectful...but Mendy's is awful. As is Adelman's and the other two places down by Marine Park. You might as well go to Artie's in Manhattan if you're going to travel for deli food.
