Thanks, I stand corrected.
So he didn't even want to hold an election. -
Subject: figures don't lie...

My mother had a nice line on that, "figures don't lie, but liars can figure". -
I don't know the story behind this bust which is clearly a big breaking story for the neighborhood, but I don't know many kids in NY of any color who didn't jump the turn-style at least once.

Not true. Actually, the only DNA evidence that proved positive belongs to an incarcerated felon named Matias Reyes, who confessed to doing everything inflicted on that poor woman. He is serving a life sentence for numerous rapes and murders.
Even sadder is the fact that the police who beat those innocent youths into confessing to the ''wilding'' attack did not have to spend the rest of their lives in jail. They should have been convicted for torture, false arrest, attempted murder, battery, and conspiracy. The mother of one of those innocents died of grief over her son's false conviction. The stupid cops should been hung for causing her death. -
Well, I think the word “thug” could have probably used more context, but I know what you mean. I actually walk to work now (about 40 blocks each direction) because I got really fed up with being on the subway with packs of youths coming home from school. I am so glad the police arrested these young men. Teens who jump the turnstile in packs are the same teens who walk past you in packs and punch you in the head (which has happened to me). I am actually surprised how much unruly behavior you see in the subway where the police do not act. I have seen teens running through packed subway cars having fun and getting dangerously close to smashing into people while several police officers stand by and do nothing.
I have seen packs of teens on that corner dressed in ties and uniforms get very unruly (they must be from a local private school). One day in September I was at Prospect Park West (the medical office) and a group of at least 15 young men were having a slapping fight on the large sidewalk to the right of the office. Basically the boxing ring was composed of 12-13 teens standing in a circle and two young men boxing but it looked like only slaps were allowed. This was really dangerous and I saw mothers and elderly come pretty close to being knocked hard by this pack. -
Slap Boxing is what a good portion of Brooklyn grew up on- I
Although being hit in the head is not fun. Being inept and feeble is far more worrisome than any minor pedestrian squabble- me thinks. A poker face is good, but in the end its just bluff- like blogging. Perhaps you confused the real world with the arm chair and got hit in the head.
just saying. -
''several police officers stand by and do nothing. ''
Yup. And your tax dollars are used to pay for their salaries. Just like those criminally racist cops who tortured the innocent defendants in the Wilding case -- they are now laughing and celebrating with the generous pensions you NY taxpayers have provided through your tax dollars as well.
Too bad Sharia law isn't applied to those crooked cops.
Howdy, Stranger!
