iTunes artwork question

Completely non-Brooklyn question, but does anyone know if I use the iTunes 8 "get album artwork" feature, will iTunes overwrite the existing artwork or will it only search for missing artwork?

I've spent some hours adding/switching some of the artwork, and don't want to lose these if I use the automatic feature.

I've searched the iTunes forum, and come up with other people asking the same question, but no answers.

Any Brooklynians know?

It only looks for missing artwork. I did this a few weeks ago when I transferred some music over on a new laptop and ipod.

Any one know how to get rid of the wrong artwork? A few songs have the wrong artwork applied to them and I haven't figured out how to get rid of it.

I don't have iTunes installed at work, but if I recall correctly, you can highlight the song, go to info, and then delete the artwork from there when the window with all the song's info pops up.
