Meet your neighbors! Friends of Berm return! Sat. at 10am

Please join us this coming Saturday morning,June 6 for another Berm beautification event. From 10am to Noon, we'll be pitching in on clean-up and simple gardening tasks in the Plaza Street berms. We continue to add new residents to our team each month, along with our a hardy group of regulars. No special skills are necessary; gloves and tools are provided. Adults and supervised children welcome.

We meet at the corner of Plaza Street and Vanderbilt Ave.

We are a grass-roots organization and rely on your help to spread the word. Please:

Print the attached flyer and post it in your building (lobby, elevator, laundry room) (I could not figure out how to attach it)
Send this notice to building list-serves and neighborhood bulletin boards.
Talk to friends and neighbors; personal invitations mean a lot.

Nature Notes: What's blooming in the berms now? Horsechestnut and the sweet-scented Black Locust trees are just finished. But Kousa Dogwoods are in full bloom. Also, those climbing roses that spread everywhere are covered with pretty white flowers right now - enjoy them while they last!
