Cat Sitter Recommendations

We use katieskitty.com and had patricia clesca to watch our cat while away on vacation. We have used her twice already and are very happy with her. She mentioned that she did take care of cats that needed medications, including a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections.
The service charges $50 per day which might be a bit steep, but they are insured and our cat was well taken care of. -
Thank you! I need someone to potentially come 2x a day as one of the cats is receiving meds, was that $50 for one visit? Or more than one? I seem to be seeing about $20 as the going rate or so.

It is $50 per day. They don't come to your house. You drop the cat at their house and they take care of it.

flux I think my cat would be traumatized by being taken out of her home now as she has recently been sick and recovering - thanks for the sugg though
Kevin, I have heard of them and alas they are booked when I need them! Will try to get them for my next trip, thanks! -
Subject: Kitty Services
Hi! Thank you for your compliments regarding my services! I just wanted to clarify that we do provide kitty visits with 'Katies Kitty'. Some of our clients prefer to board their cats with a sitter if they require extra care/supervision (usually for kittens/senior cats or cats that require medication). Boarding is a lot cheaper than having multiple visits/day. However, a single visit will run you a lot less than to board for a day. I've cared for kitties that fell in all categories, including those that were on medication. Feel free to visit our webiste: http://www.katieskitty.com
Have a fabulous day!

Subject: Pet Sitting
Hello.. we service Clinton Hill and Fort Greene (and most of Northwest Brooklyn) at reasonable rates. I'd have to hear more about the medication requirements to provide an appropriate sitter, so please feel free to contact me directly. We are licensed, bonded, insured, and have great references. Thanks!

We have used Petato and Spoil-a-pet for our diabetic cat, who now requires 2x daily injections. While it can add up, its not $50 a day, I think it ended up being $15 per visit plus $5 for the shot. Petato has a site at Petato.com and Spoil-a-pet has a site at http://www.spoil-a-pet.com/.
