$650 Great room for rent in Prospect/Crown Heights Brooklyn

Hi everyone ...
From July 1st we have a single room available in a loft-like 2 bedroom apartment.
The room is $650 per month with utilities included (gas, hot water/heat, electricity, internet, and cable)
We are asking for a security deposit and first and last months rent upfront ($1,950 to move in).

The room is medium sized with one window that lets in lots of light and air and which leads to a private roof deck ideal for hanging out, BBQ'ing, planting a garden, tanning, smoking, etc.
There is a long double closet with an upper shelf in the room and a queen sized bed that can be removed if you have your own furniture.
This room is ideal for one person, but we may allow two if you are willing to pay a bit more. (This is because we pay for hot water)

You will have full access to the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and roof deck so we are also asking that you help upkeep those areas that you access.

We are looking for someone with a steady job or source of income who can pay their rent on time, every time.

The apartment is located 15 minutes from Lower Manhattan and is off the Franklin Avenue stop on the 2,3,4,5, and Shuttle train. There are buses everywhere taking you anywhere ... the beach, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Park Slope, Williamsburg, and more.
It’s very close to Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza Library, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, the Brooklyn Museum, supermarkets, banks, post office, laundromats, hospitals, restaurants, and bars.
Everything is within walking distance.

Smokers are welcome.
Pet friendly people without a pet please. We have a gorgeous, charming, cat but she's never had a sibling, so we don't know if someone with a dog or cat would be a good fit and we don't want to have to confine our pet or yours to a room for the whole day to avoid possible fights.

We accept those wanting to rent for a short time as well, so if you're in NY for the summer or for a short period of time don't be afraid to check us out.
We are in the arts and work daily from 9-5, (excluding weekends). We speak English and French and are fun, easy-going people.
