$575 Room for rent in cute 2 BR Clinton Hill apartment
Hey all,
What more could you want? All the amenities of Clinton Hill: great restaurants, parks, and some of the best architecture in New York, all right outside the door. What else? The supermarket and a ridiculously-well stocked green grocer, a brand new laundromat, a hardware store, a cheap cheap yoga studio, health food, an actual, non-home depot hardware store, a florist...Should I keep going?
The apartment is spacious and well-lit, with lots of windows. Since I'm on the third (and top) floor, I also have access to the roof, which offers at least a somewhat decent panorama of the city, even if it's no promenade or Brooklyn Bridge. Not to mention easy views of fireworks.
This is a two bedroom apartment, so no other roommates here other than myself. The room I'm offering matches the price - it's cozy and comes with a new and ridiculously comfortable twin-size bed...I'm getting jealous of you already - but it is by no means large. The living space, on the other hand, is, and if you love to cook this is absolutely the place for you -- the kitchen ranks up there with the biggest I've seen in a New York apartment.
A little about me. I'm a painter by training but currently eke out a living as a science writer for an immigration law firm, barista, occasional pastry chef, editor, interior decorator, etc. I guess you could call me a professional freelancer. I'm pretty easygoing as a roommate as long as you keep clean and pay the bills and rent on time. Otherwise, pretty much anything goes...except pets. Sorry!
Showing the apartment all day today and from 4 to whenever tomorrow. I'll make myself available as much as I can if you need to take a look at some other time.

Hi,
My name is Ulrika, and I am currently live in Stockholm, Sweden. I am coming to New York City at the end of the September to mid November ( about 8 weeks) to do some voluntary work for a contemporary art not-for-profit organisation. It seems like we have a lot in common. I have lived in Clinton Hill before and I love Brooklyn. I am a laid back personable/social person, as well as extremely conscientious and tidy. I would love to rent your apartment only if that is possible.
Please get in touch with me.
Have a great summer!
All the best
Ulrika
