The lineup for the MLK Concert Series has been announced. Looks like they have a little something for everyone

The 27th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Concert Series performances are held Monday nights at 7:30 pm at Wingate Field, entrances on Brooklyn Avenue (Rutland Road and Winthrop Street.)

The public is encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs because seating is limited. Performers are subject to change without notice. Call the concert hotline for updates at 718-222-0600.

NO cameras, NO audio or video recording, NO alcohol, NO pets, NO bottles, NO smoking, NO exceptions… We’re NOT kidding.

Funny, these concerts are across the street from where I work. They get some good shows, and they're free, but they can be really crowded.

I saw LL Cool J there.

Hello...Just wondering if anyone knows the song Teena Marie sang with a chorus "Uncondition..al" real smooth slow song. I tried to find it on Itunes but I dont know the name of the song. I listened to all of her music but I never heard this song before...Thanks for any help....

did anyone succeed in attending late night? i couldn't get through the fucking police blockade. i biked in a big rectangle around wingate and every approach was blocked.

something tells me they'd never close off prospect park like that for, say, a david byrne concert.
