Slope Suds new location

It looks like Slope Suds is very very close to opening at their new, bigger location on 7th and 16th. Anyone a customer? It would be nice to have a good place to get my hair cut so close. It's also so nice to have something other than a nail salon or a real estate office opening. Hopefully it also bodes well for the still-vacant storefronts south of 16th St.

Overall good experiences the 3 times I have gone---- and that is saying a lot for someone who usually flips out after a haircut.

Like anything---be specific--- if you see some thinning shears or a razor coming out at the end of the hair cut, speak up. I have definitely had my hair taken down to wisps due to not speaking up and that's the only negative experience I have had over there.

I get my hair cut from Vivi and she is good at taking direction - last Summer I wanted bangs and she told me to wait until Fall; bangs during the hot months are just a pain, and she was right.

OMG! Just went in for a bang trim with Vivi and she was SO excellent!
I've walked by their place before and after hearing the good things here on brooklynian took a gander... it's sooo beauuutiful and the people and atmosphere is awesome!

AND they also do massages, facials, waxings... YAY!!

I would HIGHLY recommend them! Welcome Slope Suds!
