Police tower stationed on Nostrand Lexington

Anyone know what this is all about? It's one of those police towers with the cameras and all that.

Makes me nervous, as the last time I saw one of these was outside my friend's apartment in Lefferts Gardens after a guy was shot and killed.

I don't know why they put that police tower there.
I would actually feel safer if that tower was there for an indefinite time.

That tower was there last summer. I don't think it's there now because of any one particular instance.

Those towers look like they came straight from an old school Star Wars movie set.

yeah they're weird. although police presence is welcome, IMO
