Saw lost (?) tabby cat at Sterling and Underhill just now!

I was just walking along Sterling Place 10 minutes ago (about 6:45 p.m. Saturday) and caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a lost shorthair tabby cat. I'm guessing it was lost because it was outside (who lets a cat outside around here?) and it had a tag on its neck.

This was in the fenced garden area in front of 361 Sterling (corner of Sterling and Underhill).

Unfortunately, the kitty was pretty skittish, and I couldn't get it to come up to me so that I could check its tag, and it ran either into the bushes or down the metal stairs behind the garden area.
