R.I.P. Frank McCourt
The wonderful Frank McCourt, author of Angela's Ashes, died yesterday. I didn't know he was born in Brooklyn - Classon Ave.

I read the book a decade ago so sorry if I get the facts wrong, but wasn't he born in Ireland? And he came to New York in his late teens?
