photoshop and illustrator - one time use?

I need to make one piece in adobe illustrator (could probably do it in photoshop, too). Does anyone know of some kind of place (cybercafe, library) that rents computer time with this software? Brooklyn, Manhattan okay, too. Thanks!

  • kinkos/fedex used to have that software on some of their computers. you can check with them.
  • You can download 30 day trials from adobe.com. You'll just have to provide an email address.
  • Yep. What Niner says. You can also find torrents to get the whole CS3 Suite for free with serial numbers...but only if you're comfortable with stealing.
  • You can either go with Adobe's 30 day trial or you can try something open source like GIMP (Photoshop) and Inkspace (Illustrator). Links below

You'd be surprised at how well some of these open source software suites can work - like OpenOffice, for example.

  • Thank you to all for the good advice. (Don't think I'll go the torrents way - stealing isn't my thing.)
