After a very successful turnout, with much support from the Brooklynian members, The Ram's Head Inn on Shelter Island is hosting it's second wine tasting this summer on Sunday, 8/16! Come relax for a weekend on the beach and join us on Sunday for some great wine and live jazz. The details for the event are posted below. Please join us for a Tasting of French Wines at the Ram’s Head Inn
Sunday August 16th, 2009
5:00-7:00pm

Island Resident and Wine Importer, Jean-Pierre Riou shares his collection of French Wines with the Ram’s Head Inn for an exclusive tasting of some of the finest vintages in his collection. Chefs Christopher Meenan and Jeffery Slade will serve hors d’ oeuvres inspired by each wine to compliment and complete each tasting.
Diverging from our traditional wine dinners, this will be a two hour tasting from 5-7pm on our covered patio where guests will be able to enjoy a live jazz performance in the lounge in a casual, cocktail setting.
Guests of the wine tasting who would like to join us for dinner following the tasting will be offered a 50% discount on the wines from the tasting.
