Verbal and physical abuse on Plaza Street East

Keep your cell phone primed to call 911 if you see this guy I just saw tonight on Plaza Street East:

A guy with a toddler on his arm was screaming at the baby's mom and push-hitting her on the back, repeatedly. He kept saying "let's f-ing go! Can we just go home already?" literally about 10 times in the space of one block.

What's worse, she was maybe 95 pounds and 5 feet tall, and looked like a twig about to break every time he shoved her. She was trying to walk forward but she had a baby strapped to her chest. I guess he felt she wasn't walking fast enough, so he kept pushing her in the back.

Then he started going all self-conscious. I got pulled into it.

He looked back at me and stepped up his verbal abuse: "Would you just move it? F-ing crackers aren't looking at you. They're looking at me because I'm a ...(epithet)." For what it's worth, he was black and she was Asian.

The black woman walking to my left peeled off and tried to get a Plaza Street resident to call 911. Then she started trailing them down St. John's Place. He told her to get lost. She said she was just trying to make her destination. But she was clearly angry and watching this woman's back.

Cut to about 10 minutes later: I was walking down Park Place, and a cop car screeched to a halt in front of 3 residents who proceeded to tell the same story I just told you. I walked down past Soda, and kept an eye out, but the couple had disappeared into the night.

If these folks indeed live in the neighborhood, keep a lookout, and if this happens again, be quick to dial 911 for a domestic. If he does that in public, I'd hate to think what else is going on.
