You may already have a healthy appreciation for Sweden's namesake meatballs and massage, but now you can partake in Kräftskiva, the country's summer festival dedicated to crayfish at--where else--Ikea. Show up for plates ($10) piled with crayfish and other Swedish delicacies at the Red Hook store (no assembly required). Can't make it on Friday? I don't have high hopes, but by any chance do you know if they carry crayfish stock? I have this lovely recipe for blackened scallops with crayfish sauce, but I can't find the required crayfish stock anywhere. And please don't tell me to buy a bunch of crayfish and make my own because I'm not that industrious.
