Baseball fans- Volunteers needed!!

Inner City Sports Little League is the little league for Fort Green, Bed Stuy, Crown Heights, Bushwick and Brownsville for boys and girls ages 4-13. This is the second year of operation under its own charter. As a new entity, the league relies on parents, coaches and the community to help the program run smoothly.

The league is looking for adults (or teens) that would be interested in acting as scorekeepers for the games. They'll teach you everything you need to know. Games are played at Thompkins Park ( 670 Lafayette Ave between Marcy and Thompkins) Saturdays starting April 22nd. You don't have to committ to scoring every game, or even every weekend but it would be great to have a few folks from the community that could supplement the coaches in scorekeeping. It would also be a great opportunity for folks to meet others in the community.

There is going to be a scorekeeping clinic Monday, March 27th at 7:00pm at the Herbert Von King Cultural Center which is located in the park. All you need is a pencil. Feel free to stop by...
