I wonder, though, whether more publicity could be a problem for her. As the sanctuary becomes more well known, she will no doubt be inundated by folks abandoning their unwanted cats there, under the misguided impression that sanctuaries like this one make the problem go away.

But no sanctuary or shelter would ever be big enough to solve the pet overpopulation problem. It will only come through near-universal spay/neuter policies--but unfortunately that issue is never as "cute" as something like this.

How incredibly cool is that? I've seen it before and love it. My husband made me promise that should he die before me that I won't become a cat lady. I agreed, but also told him that it won't matter, cause he won't know what I do by that time!

Has Caseopele seen this one yet? We should find her some acreage somewhere. I know she's run an amazing refuge if ever possible.
