Bickels Restaurant is now open on Fulton St !!!

It is actually called Bickels Jerk Express Restaurant and Cafe at 1118 Fulton off Franklin and Claver Pl and the grand opening was today. I have to say the jerk chicken is pretty damn good. For $7 dollars I had the peas and rice, steamed veggies and plantains with my jerk.They had quite a few customers who were surprised to find this place will be open 24 hours a day.Also beginning Sept 14th they will have an all you can eat lunch buffet .IThey serve caribbean and italian food. The staff are super friendly and service was quick for it being opening day.Hope they do well so I dont have to travel to Flatbush and Church Aves for my jerk.

i made a topic about this awhile ago.. too lazy to find it now, though.
anyway, i went there expecting something decently priced and i left feeling like a sucker. i spent 6.50 on steamed vegetables (aka cabbage) and a small portion of escovitch fish. lame. i originally wanted shrimp but of course they were out.
