Cuban Salsa ("Casino")/Rueda de Casino is a dynamic, high energy social dance alive and thriving in Cuba, New York, and across the globe. In the 8-Week Introductory Workshop students will learn the fundamentals of body movement, rhythm, partnering technique and basic steps. You don't need a partner and no experience is necessary.

The Advanced Beginner Workshop, open to students who have completed the beginner series or have equivalent dance experience, will continue to develop fundamentals and expand on skills learned at the introductory level.

Rebecca Bliss brings over a decade of experience as a teacher, performer and scholar to her highly popular, spirit-lifting salsa classes. Her unique pedagogy reflects both intensive study in Cuba, and extensive study of complementary dance, movement, and healing arts in NYC. Rebecca's classes are non-competitive, inclusive, and a great opportunity to meet new folks while discovering the joys of salsa!
