Story behind Grand Army Plaza

I'm looking for a few people who know the Park well. I have a FREE hour walk that will demonstrate how the Plaza, planned in 1865 and designed to honor the Union victory, was used by Lincoln's enemies for other purposes.
The walk is from the Arch to the Lincoln Memorial in the Concert Grove.
Saturday at 10am.
