ISO a new home in Brooklyn! Prospect/Crown Heights/Bedstuy

hi friends and people who are not yet my friends,
i'm looking to move by october 1st or 15th, and i want to live in brooklyn, in prospect heights, crown heights, or bed stuy. i want to pay no more than $650, and i have a cat! i'm willing to move in with an already established household that will welcome me and my cat, or start a new one with people with similar goals of happy living, commitment to sustainability, and if i'm really lucky, ideals of social justice.

i'm 28, a massage therapist, yoga teacher, urban cyclist, all-around food lover (i admit it, i'm a locavore), and dancer with the rude mechanical orchestra. i'm looking for a new home, with more than one other roommate (i've been looking at 3 and 4 bedrooms). i'm not looking for new best friends but i hope that we can contribute to each other's quality of life. i expect to share household duties, and potentially food and meals on a semi-regular basis. i am environmentally conscious and love to compost and recycle, and am seeking roommates with the ability to clean up after themselves, especially in the kitchen. i cook a lot! i'm a member of the park slope food coop, and the crown heights CSA, along with a community garden in prospect heights. i want to live with people who are friendly, willing to communicate within the household, and can respect each other's needs for privacy when necessary. i do enjoy drinking socially, but would prefer not to live with people who are heavy drug or alcohol users, or cigarette smokers (to be perfectly honest). i have a record player, a sewing machine, and enjoy working on creative projects! basically, i want to come home to a relaxing and enjoyable environment, where everyone feels safe and comfortable.
