Which candidates are progressive in Brooklyn?
It's not always easy to know which candidates are the right ones. That's why I'll be using MyWFP, a new free tool for finding out which local candidates in Brooklyn earned the Working Families Party seal of approval.

Does anyone know of other Brooklyn wide endorsement sites for curious voters?
This is how the WFP works the endorsement angle...
Our Process: In the spring hundreds of our members from across the state get together to screen candidates seeking our endorsement. More than 1600 applied, from Montauk to Niagara Falls.
Our Issues: We asked each candidate about the most important issues facting working families: housing, jobs, transportation, sustainability, education and social services.
Our Choices: No candidate is perfect. But we’ve made the commitment to researching each one, learning about their record and personal philosophy. When it comes to picking the best choices for middle-class and working families - no one beats the Working Families Party. ">

Subject: WFP is a bunch of corrupt political hacks
They have been caught up in a scheme to defraud the public and launder hundreds of thousands of tax dollars. I would actively oppose anyone they endorse. It's the seal of corruption.
For example, The New York Daily News reported that the WFP's Bill de Blasio is at the center of a massive "election funding scam." He has devised an illegal scheme involving shell organizations to rake in hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal contributions and public funds. The New York Times has written that the scheme to benefit de Blasio "threatens to undermine" the city's campaign finance system.
Despite repeated questions by all three of the city's major daily newspapers, de Blasio is playing political games again, stonewalling and trying to cover-up the scandal. For de Blasio, it's nothing new: the ultimate insider, he changed his name to win his first election, flip-flopped on term limits, Atlantic Yards and congestion pricing, manipulated pictures of his family, grabbed campaign contributions after trying to open legislative loopholes for corporate fatcats, and he profited as a lobbyist for an entity tied to a political party while he was a councilman.
De Blasio has refused to disclose the extent of his relationships with affiliated groups, and his lack of independence clearly shows him to be unfit for higher office.
