I want to flee TWC

Is $185 a whole lot to pay for phone/internet/pretty basic cable? Is there a cheaper option in PS?

I have to say, I've never really had much of a problem w/the service, but it just seems to be 'spensive.

Thoughts? Ideas?

try to get rates of other places. If they come out cheaper than TWC, threaten that you will go to them and drop TWC service. They might lower your bill

I have Verizon unlimited phone + DSL it's $68 month with all the taxes.
Basic cable from TW is $16 + taxes. I think I pay about $65 with taxes for digital TV+ DVR

And when the power goes out I have a working phone

You can get the Verizon package mentioned by BrooklynJack plus top of the line DirecTV for well under $185 a month if you buy it all through Verizon. You might even still be able to get in on their free netbook deal. I haven't had my first bill yet but I'm expecting it to be about $140 including additional charges for NFL Sunday Ticket.

If you prefer sticking with TWC, they'll reduce your Triple Play charges to $120 a month if you agree to a 2-year contract.

I just looked my TW bill is $145, for (1) TV with HBO, phone and internet. Whadda get for $185?

I thought mine was insane at 115 for internet and "expanded" digital cable (no movie channels.) I'm going to call tomorrow evening and try to get it down, momma doesn't have this kind of cash!

my directtv is about $56. verizon does my internet and cell/blackberry for about $85, vonage is $20 a month.

Isn't Dish network doing some special for $30 a month for 2 years...and that includes their version of NFL Sunday Ticket? I was going to do DirecTV's Sunday Ticket and it costs $300!! WTF?

Damn, BrooklynJack, that's less than I'm paying for Verizon phone alone! How long have you had this plan? I'm gonna call and try to get them down but need more details...

I know that also if you have Verizon Wireless and put it all on the same bill you get unlimited calling to and from your home land line phone
