when you get your dog. always eat in front of them. eat first and when you are done eating. and make sure they know this let the dog eat. make sure to set up boundaries when you first get the dog etc... blah anyway another reason i don't have a dog here is its too cruel to have one small spaces etc.. dogs need huge range to be happy.

lol you don't know anything about dogs, they are a pack animal, they show respect to pack leader other wise you'll be drag around a leash like almost everyone does in nyc or america for example. besides you're one of the biggest trolls on this message board besides few other posters. not gonna waste my time replying to any of your post in the future. -
in the third world they may be pack animals, but for some reason i think they have been kind of domesticated in america for quite a while. .
And who cares about how you mastered the wild packs of animals [LOL] in china, was that really you on Wild Kingdom.
as far as you not replying, now my feelings are hurt. -
I'm surprised nobody mentioned this: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/03/nyregion/03debark.html?hpw

We live on 2nd St. near the corner of 5th Ave, and I hear this dog CONSTANTLY. In fact, I am hearing him right now. He is in a back courtyard, right behind the new Benchmark restaurant. I don't know the number of the building where he lives, but the entrance is on 5th between 1st and 2nd Sts., right next to Ginza or maybe the dry cleaners - the mustard-covered building. They let him roam around int he back courtyard and he never, ever shuts up. Feel free to call 311 to your heart's content.
we live on 5th ave between first and second and there's a dog in the backyard of someone who lives on our block or on 1st street between 4th and 5th avenue. the dog barks all day long and it doesn't even seem like the owner is home.
anyone else dealing with this?
what happens next? -
Oops, I meant mustard-COLORED building. But maybe it should be covered in mustard. LOL.

joehill wrote: anyone able to tell what building this dog is kept behind? it's been kept outside all week in the frigid temperatures and is understandably barking a lot.
It's 294 5th Ave. Back garden.
it is way too cold for this dog to be kept outside, but i can't tell where the barking is coming from. it seems to be on 1st St pretty close to 5th ave, but 311 will need a house number i am sure. -
I think this dog has been barking maybe 20 out of the last 30 hours this weekend.

stuff half-a-xanax in a pepperoni flavored combo and throw it in their yard. Have peaceful afternoon.
And yes, this is an awesomely sarcastic answer. -

You would never "punch his/her lights out" and to suggest hitting a woman speaks volumes towards your character and place in society. Aren't you the same person that was afraid to confront your deadbeat tenant? A lot of bark from you. No bite.
Someone posted a note on the front door of 294. I wonder if the note writer buzzed the two downstairs apartments before taping their note to the door? -

This hell-hound was up to his old tricks again yesterday with the incessant barking. Anyone else hear it?
-
The barking is back. When I stick my head out the window I can see, in the courtyard just south of my building, two HUGE dogs who are clearly stressed. They stand on the steps that lead to the backdoor of the building and bark to be let back in. Incessantly. For hours. They owner puts them outside at night and they're still out there in the morning. This has been going on for days.
I'm going to put a note on their door today. I know there was a note put up before...does anyone remember what it said? It seemed to work for a while. Should I threaten to report them? -
Those poor dogs. I know how annoying it is to have dogs barking when you're trying to sleep but it breaks my heart to think of them out there all night.
-
Caseopele I feel the same way! Its awful for me but much worse for them!
-
I'd recommend calling the ASPCA but if they're not being obviously abused, have food, water, and shelter then there's nothing they can do. :?

Doesn't it violate some noise ordinance? /(Too lazy to re-review the whole thread to see if that's been covered) -
This dog has been at it for the last 4 hours and counting.
-
AHHHHHHH!!!! THE HOUND FROM HELL IS AT IT AGAIN!!! Anyone else hear it? Kept my wife up past midnight last night.
-
May i make a suggestion...
